Sam Arellano is a marketing professional with a succesful track record of leading marketing strategies to achieve business goals and objectives. In addition to advertising and public relations, his experience and skills include promotions, events, branding and positioning, direct mail and email online marketing, social media management and marketing collateral development.
Over a period of 14 years at Casino Del Sol and Casino of the Sun in Tucson AZ (1,475 slots, 43 table games, 800 seat bingo, 15 restaurants, 215 hotel rooms, 3 entertainment venues, 1,300 employees), Sam progressed through the ranks with increasing responsibilities beginning with appointments as Promotions Coordinator and Guest Development Director and continuing with Sol-Slot Club Manager, Director of Entertainment and Events, Sam was promoted the top position, Executive Director of Marketing.
Over the course of his career, Sam developed and administrated marketing budgets ranging from $3M to $30M, as well as strategic marketing plans, customer service training, and Hispanic marketing plans. He gained ancillary experience in internal audit controls and compliance. Other marketing experience includes Corporate Director of Marketing at Nevada Casino Holdings, LLC; Regional Marketing Director at Storm International-Hollywood Entertainment; and Director of Marketing at Casino Fandango.
Previous employment experience includes Career Transition Specialist, Job Corps-US Department of Labor; Project Manager for the Health Services Division the Pascua Yaqui Tribe; and “Native Airwaves” Talk Show Host-KXEW 1600 AM (Clear Channel Radio, Tucson, AZ)
Years following earlier studies at the University of Arizona, Sam completed a B.A. Marketing at Colorado Technical University in 2016 and earned a post-graduate M.S. degree at Grand Canyon University in 2018.
